Pictures from an oldish samsung camera phone recently aquired. Although I've never been one for picture-taking, having it "always there" is intriguing.

My new job... view from the desk chair

being on the back side of the building, I get a nice view of the Avon woods

a rare "opening" office window invites escape...

I didn't notice this mass cane plant right in front of my desk until someone walked in and watered and pruned it. Nice powers of observation.

the Planning Room

deep in the bowels of the basement, somewhere between mostly-finished house renovation, and work-in-progress new garage, lies the "planning room" where all complex operations must be white-boarded out...

Hiking Pataconk Reservoir, Cockaponset State Forest

A military-like hike up and back the west side of Pataconk Reservoir at Cockaponset State Forest. Things got ugly, but the crew made it through OK. There was suspicion that the guide was drinking cheap scotch out of a perrier bottle, though unconfirmed.
